World Culture Day - Chinese Paper Fan

Welcome to World Culture Day here at Bee the Artist! Each month we'll be hosting different activities that highlight the culture of a country. For June we'll be painting Chinese Paper Fans! Fans are important in Chinese culture with regard to functioning as air circulation, social identities and status, and were crucial in ceremonial use. This is a wonderful class to learn about Chinese culture and to be creative while doing so!

Fans will be painted with a large variety of acrylic paints to choose from. You can even use Chinese symbols to create a saying on your fan! You'll also be able to choose colors for your tassel and learn how to make one!

This workshop is $20.00; upon purchasing a ticket, it is a $10.00 deposit, which will then be taken off of the full $20.00 price upon paying the balance at the start of the workshop.
